David joined the firm in 1986. He received a Masters in Accounting from New Hampshire College and an MBA from the College of William and Mary. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants.
David's professional practice is focused on tax return planning and preparation for individuals and businesses, audits of financial statements for businesses and non-profit organizations, business valuations and estate tax planning.

David is the treasurer of Dover Main Street and has served as the treasurer of the Rotary Club of Dover, New Hampshire.
Michelle received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UNH's Whittemore School of Business and Economics. She began work for Hodgdon, Wilson & Griffin in 1993. Her concentrations are business start-ups, individual and business tax planning and tax preparation. She is a member of the New Hampshire Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
A native of Dover, NH, Michelle served on the boards of the Dover High School Alumni Association and the Dover Day Care Learning Center. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Wentworth Douglass Hospital and Health Foundation.
Matt has worked in public accounting since 1994 and earned his certification in 1997. He joined Hodgdon, Wilson & Griffin in 1996. Prior to entering public accounting, Matt had over ten years experience in the field of Management Information Systems.
Matt received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an Associate in Business Science degree in Accounting from McIntosh College. Matt's professional practice is focused in the areas of individual and business tax planning and return preparation, and financial statement preparation for businesses and non-profit organizations.
Matt is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Hampshire Society of CPAs. He is also a member of the Kiwanis Club of the Seacoast in Portsmouth, NH. Matt plays golf and coaches youth soccer and softball in his spare time
Dave left Peat Marwick & Co., CPAs in Boston, Massachusetts to join Phillip W. Hodgdon, CPA in 1972. After receiving his B.A. degree from Colby in 1967, Dave spent two years in the Army, which included a tour of duty in Vietnam. Following his honorable discharge, he enrolled in the MBA program at Boston University.
Professional organizations that Dave belongs to include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New Hampshire Society of CPAs and the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council.
Civic organizations Dave has been involved with past and present include the Dover Community Foundation, for which he was treasurer from 1975 to 1982, Dover Industrial Development Corporation, Richard D. McDonough Golf Scholarship Foundation for which he was the treasurer from 1992 to 2001 and Dover Rotary Club, for which he was treasurer from 1983 to 1998. He was also an assistant coach for the University of New Hampshire golf team from 1994 to 1996.
Dave concentrates his professional practice primarily in corporate and individual tax planning and preparation, business transition, trust and estate work, and retirement planning.
On a personal note, he and his wife Marcia have two grown children and one grandson and four granddaughters. Dave's an avid golfer and enjoyed skiing prior to the start of a hectic tax season.
Jeanne has been an accountant with Hodgdon, Wilson & Griffin since 1987. Prior to working in public accounting, she worked in engineering, systems management and non-profit management.
Jeanne received her Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Wesleyan University, with additional studies in management and accounting from Dartmouth College, McIntosh College, the University of New Hampshire and the Institute of Human Ecology.
Jeanne is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is currently serving as Treasurer of the nonprofit organization SeaCare Health Services of Exeter, New Hampshire.
